Joe has a passion for watercolor. He began painting at age 65 and is now exploring various techniques and challenges. He lives in Colorado with his wife Pamela.
Statement
I love the challenges of watercolor painting. Every painting has a purpose, sometimes for a loved one, sometimes to make a statement. I don't paint for money, I paint because I believe God smiles when I do.
Biography
Joe has been painting for 13 years. Although new to painting, He has had a passion for art since a teenager. He never knew that he had talent, until one day in Arizona, he picked up some watercolors and painting his first painting. He both enjoyed the process and liked the result. His paintings are always different and tell a story or make a statement. He is passionate to learn and grow in his technique and subject matter. This year for the first time he is entering his work in art shows.
