Joseph Sturniolo

Jesus lived close to the sea of Galilee. He often times spent time traveling across this sea with his apostles and eating the fish they caught on the shore. This painting is of the boat they were in on the beach. I wanted to catch the drama of weather and light and a boat that was rugged enough to weather the storms on Galilee.
